We are thrilled to announce the latest Flowers ratings from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate. While our goal is always to make wine that is expressive of our unique terroir, it is always wonderful to get recognition and kind words from our friends in the industry.
“The 2016 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast offers up subtle lemongrass, grapefruit and nectarine notes with touches of chalk dust and fresh ginger. Medium-bodied with well-played freshness accenting the creamy texture and quiet intensity of stone fruit flavors, it delivers a long, minerally finish.”
“The 2016 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is pale ruby-purple colored with a pronounced red currants and cranberries-scented nose with hints of rose hips, raspberry leaves and dried herbs plus a waft of fungi. Medium-bodied, delicately fruited and with beautifully pure cranberry and earth-inspired layers, it has a firm frame of grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing with an herbal lift.”
“The 2015 Chardonnay Camp Meeting Ridge gives a seriously savory nose with baking bread, yeast extract and crumbled nuts notions over a core of warm peaches and Bosc pears plus a waft of jasmine. Medium-bodied, fine, fresh and very elegant in the mouth, it offers wonderful restraint yet compelling intensity and length.”
“Pale ruby-purple in color, the 2015 Pinot Noir Camp Meeting Ridge gives up lovely lavender, powdered cinnamon, cloves and menthol notes over a core of kirsch and black cherries with a waft of garrigue. Medium-bodied and with a solid foundation of chewy tannins and just enough freshness, it has great red fruit and spice box intensity with excellent persistence.”
“Pale ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Sea View Ridge has a fragrant nose of black cherries, pomegranate and chocolate box with wafts of potpourri, tree bark and baking spices. Medium-bodied, firm and grippy, it has a solid core of tightly wound fruit and earth flavors, finishing on a lingering peppery note.”
